How Does It Work?

LATISSE® is applied every night at the base of the upper eyelid (not the lower). It needs to be applied when the area is clean and dry, so make sure to remove all makeup and cleanse your eyes before applying LATISSE®. Contact lenses should also be removed prior to application. A sterile applicator is used to apply LATISSE® to the eyelid base. It does require continual treatment; if you were to stop at any point, your lashes would gradually revert back to their original appearance. LATISSE® works best with consistent use once a day. Additional applications will not increase lash growth, nor will they speed up the process.

What to Expect

When using LATISSE®, patience and consistency is the key. Results happen gradually; you will begin to notice a difference after a couple of weeks, with full results at 16 weeks, so it’s important to continue using it nightly. LATISSE® works to increase the fullness of your lashes while also darkening and lengthening them.

How to Maximize Your Results With LATISSE®

You can maximize your results by ensuring you are consistent in the application of LATISSE®. If you keep the bottle close to your other nightly products and build it into your nightly routine, you will see the results you expect. It’s important to follow the instructions for application; deviation from the instructions can cause LATISSE® to not work properly. Additionally, be cautious to maintain the sterility of the gel; ensure that you are applying LATISSE® to each eye with a new, sterile applicator, and avoid touching the bottle or the applicator with your hands. By taking care when using LATISSE®, you are ensuring yourself the best possible results.
