What Is Glacial® Skin?

Glacial® Skin systems use Cryomodulation™ to improve various skin concerns, including redness, inflammation, and benign lesions. Cryomodulation™ is an advanced technology that uses precision cooling to reduce inflammation, balance melanin, and accelerate exfoliation.

Glacial® fx is a compact multi-modality platform that offers two versatile cooling treatments: Glacial Glide and Glacial Gloss. These can be performed alone or combined with other therapies to make healthy, glowing skin accessible to more patients or enhance results from other treatments.

What Are the Benefits of Glacial® Skin?

Almost anyone can benefit from the gentle skin treatments available through the Glacial® fx platform. Two different treatment options, Glacial Gloss and Glacial Glide, allow our providers to customize Glacial® Skin treatments to suit the needs and goals of our patients. Other benefits of Glacial® fx include:

  • Rejuvenated, balanced skin
  • Smoother, more radiant complexion
  • Targets conditions like acne, melasma, rosacea, and sun damage
  • Non-invasive
  • Comfortable, refreshing treatments
  • No downtime
  • Flexible treatment options
  • Can be combined with other non-surgical procedures

Am I a Candidate for Glacial® Skin?

Glacial® Skin does not involve the use of harsh modalities, such as light, heat, lasers, or harsh acids, making it widely applicable for many patients experiencing a variety of skin types, conditions, and concerns.

Candidates for Glacial® Skin treatments may wish to address skin concerns such as rosacea, melasma, sun spots, dull skin, uneven skin tone, and more. Glacial Glow and Glacial Glide are typically safe for pregnant and breastfeeding women.

To determine if this treatment is a good fit for you and develop a treatment plan tailored to your skin goals, schedule a consultation by calling (732) 410-4789.

What Is a Glacial® Skin Treatment Like?

The Glacial® fx system has two treatment options: Glacial Gloss and Glacial Glide. These can be combined, used as standalone treatments, or used in conjunction with other non-invasive treatments like laser therapy. Your skin type and overall aesthetic goals will help determine which method is right for you.

Glacial Gloss

A multi-step treatment that pairs precision cooling with synergistic topicals for a smooth, plump, radiant complexion. Glacial Gloss can target multiple skin conditions, such as acne, melasma, and uneven skin tone. This treatment usually takes one hour and imparts the skin with a luminous, dewy finish. Patients often schedule a Glacial Gloss treatment every four to six weeks for maximum benefits.

Glacial Glide

This treatment is the ultimate for a relaxed, refreshed result. Glacial Glide deeply hydrates, delivers deep cleansing, treats inflammation, and leaves the skin feeling fresh and rejuvenated. It also reduces puffiness, balances skin texture, and preps the skin for events or other treatments.

What Is Glacial® Skin Recovery Like?

There is no downtime or recovery associated with Glacial® Skin treatments.

In fact, Glacial® fx is a wonderful aid for the recovery processes of other treatments. It is often used to reduce inflammation and refresh and calm the skin after more intensive or invasive procedures. For example, Glacial Glide can be added to soothe the skin and boost radiance after treatments like BOTOX® Cosmetic, fillers, or microneedling.

When Will I See My Glacial® Skin Results?

Many patients will notice more radiant skin immediately after their first treatment. However, Glacial® Skin treatments are designed to see optimal results in the following three months. The best results tend to follow continued treatment.
